  • Yes protein powder shakes are like..... a little sneaky ice cream treat, that aren't bad for you. I keep it simple with 1 scoop of Vanilla protein powder (body fortress OF COURSE) 1 serving of plain soymilk and some ice. It literally tastes like a sugar cookie shake that I paid 8 bucks for at the ice cream shop. I emailed body fortress to tell them how tasty their powders were. Plus with the vanilla, you can throw in chocolate, peanut butter, fruits of any kind, cinnamon, oats, ANYTHING.

here is what I do for mine. 1 cup of strawberries 1 cup of bananas and a cup of low fat vanilla yogurt (maybe greek for extra protein depending on how you like it) and some ice and some skim milk added for a little fluidity.
  • I use Body by Vi protein powder and I found this blog with 100 recipes; you could use any protein powder. The ones I have tried are awesome. My favorites are key iime pie; chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate peanut butter cup. I use Silk unsweetened almond milk in all my smoothies. Good Luck!

1 banana, 1 cup vanilla soy milk, 1/2-3/4 cup of ice (depends on how thing you like it but sometimes I freeze the banana so I dont have to use any ice) 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 packet of stevia

My kids love it to. The cinnamon gives it a great flavor

I love to take the Body Fortress Protein Powder in chocolate, add a tablespoon of Hershey's special dark cocoa(the unsweetened kind for baking) 1 cup of vanilla almond milk, a handful of ice and blend! Really good with a couple tbsp of peanut butter but of course that ups the cals. 250 without pb 450 with 2 tbsp pb

I like using Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla as my smoothie base. It's only 40 calories a cup and you can add stuff to it.
