    I don't know what they intended, but I've done both. The cucumber salad with the mustard dressing was too strong by itself, but was tasty tossed in with some mixed baby greens. So, I think it just depends on you.

    Wow! that is a huge list! Thank you for sharing. This is one area of receipes I can never think of, I always just think of romaine lettuce with dressing when I think of salad. Pretty boring...
