Very new to this and so far all the success stories have been a great inspiration.
I never really took much notice of what was in my food. My first shock was when i saw that the dressing on my salad was more than the rest of the meal! I think tracking my food better will help and would love to hear some tips from others, like how they get over cravings - what are good low calorie snacks, good recipes etc
Would love to add some people on this to help me on those bad days!

I want/need to lose 40lbs. I too was mortified when I entered a recipe, a family favoite, from my Paul Deen cookbook and the calories for 1 serving of Mac and Cheese was almost 700. I couldn't believe how many calories I'd been eating. My husband and I went and bought a new low-cal cookbook (we both love to cook) and hopefully my weight gain will become weight loss. I will need all the help I can get through this life changing journey!

Best of luck - hopefully on a few months we'll have knocked a big chunk off!
