So down on myself

I don't know what's wrong, I feel like a complete looser. I'm trying to watch what I eat, I'm trying to stay under my calorie goals, and I'm trying to work out at least 3 times a week for an hour doing what I can do physically, which is not a lot but I'm trying. And I haven't lost 1 pound in 1 month... What's wrong with me? What am I doing wrong? I don't eat junk food, I don't eat sweets. I just feel like this is a complete waste of time. Why kill myself when nothing works?

Don't give up! It can get hard but you CAN do this! Remember to look for Non Scale Victories (NSV) in addition to the number. Have you had a friend or two look at your log to see if there is something you could do differently? Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes really helps. You can add me too, we could all use more support.

    reduce ur calories more!!!1

actually thats the only solution , any calories calculations are always an estimate and many times they are wrong , so check what is right for u, if u are eating 2000 for example, make it 1700 and see how it goes, if it is 1500 make is 1300 and see how it goes it is a test and with time u find the solution
  • Well if you eat really healthy most of the time, but if you binge eat or drink- it will derail you and you are right back where you started. Just evaluate if you had one or two of those in the month. That was one of the biggest "ahas" I've had doing MFP.

    Maybe this link will help.

You can find out your Bodyfat first.... all you need is a measuring tape.
Then calculate your BMR and TDEE.
From then you'll find out how many calories you should be eating.
I wasn't losing that well (maybe a half to a pound a week) so after finding my numbers I recently increased my intake from 1200 to 1400. Apparently my BMR is just under 1400 and they say that is the BASIC your body needs to function. In other words, you should never eat below your BMR.

Good luck. Just keep plugging away!
