I'm 110 I think I maintain on about1500-1700 w out exercise . Does that sound high?0
-
my maintenance is like 2400, and i used to cut at 2000 and lost weight and now im dropping to 1700 for a personal reason.
for girls you will need to weight for their answers0 -
Currently at 2130 but I'm still in the process of adding 100 cal every week till I reach 2500 where I might stay for a while. I'm trying to repair my metabolism from my extreme calorie diet which I did at around 1300-1600 cal a day with workout which totally ruined my metabolism. Now am back to heavy lifting so I'm increasing my calories.0

I don't know how to figure it out but I ate about 2800 today (my no count day) and the screen says that 'if every day were like today' I'd still lose 2 pounds in 5 weeks.0
-
I maintain at around 2,6000
-
i am 5ft 5 and 126, and i maintain on net 20000
-
Right now, at 5'7 and 273lbs, I maintain at 2400... I'm pretty sedentary0
-
I'm 5'1" and 168 pounds, and while I am not yet fully in maintenance mode, when I take short breaks from having a deficit, I seem to maintain quite well around 1800-1900 calories, which is right in line with my current calculated TDEE.0
-
Is maintainence at TDEE?0
-
My maintenance at TDEE is 1713. That's for sedentary lifestyle (I have a desk job), I'm 144 lbs and 5'9". I think the best bet is to put in your measurements on a TDEE calculation website and get what's right for you.
If I exercise I eat those calories back in the course of a week rather than on the actual day because with my job I may be able to go for a run one day, and then have to eat out another day because I'm working away from home. This seems to be working so far.0 -
I'm 123 lb 5'6" and maintain at 1580 which is the number calculated by mfp. So far it is working for the last month. If I exercise I eat back my exercise cals..0

I can eat about 2,000-2,100 a day and maintain. I am 5'2" and 149 lbs and 51-years old. To lose I cut 10-15 %0
-
My maintenance as calculated by MFP is about 1750 plus exercise calories (which is what I prefer to do) I am 5'6 and 60kg0
-
Do you think my bmr is less bc of dieting?0
-
I maintain on about 2300 calories, on average. I get quite a bit of exercise, and don't eat back my calories.0
-
I think I eat on average 1700-1900 and maintain on that.
ETA I'm 5'1.5" and 105 lbs.0 -
172 pounds...speed walk one hour day and maintain on roughly 1500 cals per day.0
-
50 -- 5'2 have lost 35 lbs and am maintaining at anywhere between 1000 - 1300 with or without exercise. I don't pay attention to eating my calories back..I just eat normally. I am currently at 132 lbs.0

Seriuosly? Some of you ladies are eating way too little. I'm 5'2" and my weight ranges between 150-154 and have been maintaining my weight since early last year on anywhere between 2000 (no workout, sedentary weekend day) to 2400-2800 on workdays (Medical Assistant at a busy clinic, lots of walking) depending on whether I exercise or not. Anyone who thinks they're maintaining on 1500-1700 cals has a damaged metabolism I'm sure......0

I maintain somewhere in the range of 1900-2200. I'm 5'4 and 1200

Someone maintaining 110 lb or 120 lb vs your 154 lb will need less calories then you.. No need to get judgmental. If I ate like you I would also gain up to your weight which is not where I want to be.0 -
I am 5'6" 27 years old 144lbs and maintaining at 2400cals a day or more depending on workout.0

I'm the same as you, 5'4" 110 pounds but I'm older 36. I still have a pretty high metabolism though because I am active.0 -
I want to be able to eat 2000 ! Lol I'm afraid I'll gain on that tho....0
-
This thread makes me feel so much better.
I'm 5'10, 195 and can't seem to eat below 2000 without feeling famished.
I was probably maintaining this weight at 2500-3000 per day. I have no clue what I ate which is why MFP has been a real eye opener. I joined this site thinking I needed to eat 1200 to lose weight. Screw that! Now my goal is to eat 1700 per day because I want to be 143 lbs.0 -
my biggest question
i get everything from 1500 to 2000 and i am always scared to eat more than 1500! i could really use help with this. i am underweight but i love my body the way it is now and don't want to gain more.0 -
I am slowly approaching my maintenance and currently at 3200kcal. Stats are 5ft 11in, 199-200 lbs but weight is slowly dropping.0
-
around 2300 but time for trial and error to hit the right figure0

No it does not sound high. Try to log for three weeks and see if that level works. Adjust up or down by 200 cals and see if you see any changes.0 -
44 years old, 5'9", 148 pounds. Switched to maintenance a few weeks before Christmas. Put on a few pounds over the holidays, but back down now and maintaining around 2000.0
