Can someone please explain to me why having a baked potato with cheese and beans is more filling than it would be to have say 3 potatoes as mash or boiled. I just dont get it. I had two baked potatoes as they were not very big and i had to really push to finish them both.

Cheese and beans are proteins which keep you satiated longer.0

what i mean is that if we were having mash or boiled potatos we would have a meat and veg and probably gravy with it and not feel full whereas these two jacket potatoes filled us up totally and i dont understand is eating them is considerably less than another meal with potatoes in it. Do you follow me? I just dont undersnand the reason behind it and would like to know.0
