BF% - by skinfold caliper test (reliability?)

So, there's various ways of testing your body fat %
I've never had mine professionally measured, as I'm sure is the case for most people.
In the past I've generally used equations found on the internet, or online calculators.
I always sat around 14% bf, since my current cut, I've dropped from around 92-93kg, down to about 87kg.
I'd bought myself a set of digital body fat callipers in hope of getting a more accurate reading.
In using this multiple times, I've got a reading of around 10% bf, which was actually my goal. But I don't think this is accurate as I think I am higher, probably 12.5 at lowest!

Anyone have any thoughts on how accurate this method is?

(have measured as accurately as possible myself, & also got my gf to measure on a separate occasion getting the same results)

Whily they don't always give an acurate picture of BF, I like bio-impedance. They are cheap, easy to use and give you a good pic of your LBM. And since water weight looks the same on your body, weighs the same, and I doubt it's much healthier than fat, I like knowing if I have too much of either/both.

I think it's the best bang for your at-home buck.
