my current "healthy" version of what used to be an indulgence for me:

low cal, low carb, high protein plain bagel + 1 tbsp of regular cream cheese + a few capers + a slice of tomato + a few bits of red onion + some lox (great for protein and low in calories) layered on top = BLISS! (and the way I make it, the entire meal is only about 300 calories and very filling!)

I also like Weight Watchers microwave popcorn

And my staple snacks (currently) are string cheese, yogurt and sugar free pudding

I was also thrilled to discover that approx 7 slices of turkey lunch meat (or ham) is barely 70 calories and 8 gram of protein, so sometimes I forego the bread altogether and just wrap the lunch meat in a slice of swiss cheese and eat my "deli roll up"

Almonds ~ their crunch is amazing...a handful is so satifying & give the jaw a real workout!

Lettuce ~ wrapped around most anything...another cruncher! (no iceberg, pls)

I love greek yogurt! I use it plain as a substitute for sour cream, or with honey or fruit as a desert/snack!
I love the slim a bear ice cream sandwiches - only 100 calories and pretty big!
I love trader joes kettle corn - they make it in single serving bags and one (pretty good sized) bag has only 120 calories and its VERY satisfying! (couldn't fint it this time though... )

I love fresh fruits. I usually buy 2 of the containers they sell at our commissary of already cut up/mixed fresh fruit. It has strawberries, cantalope, honey dew, pineapple and grapes.

Raw veggies like carrots, broccoli, celery, bell peppers

    Steamed veggies

I love love love nuts but I can not and probably never will be able to eat them in moderation. How can someone eat only 5 almonds for a snack?!

I love Fiber One honey clusters cereal, the 100 calorie bags of kettlecorn popcorn, apples, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, bananas, peaches, mangoes, pears, plums, lowfat low carb vanilla yogurt, lowfat cottage cheese, garlic cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, onions, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, apple chips, almost any form of chicken..

LOL. I love a lot of food and it's awesome how much I do love most healthy foods. However, I also happen to love a lot of fried foods and desserts but I've been trying my best to behave.

I make my own smoothies: 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1 packet Truvia, frozen/raw mixed berries, a little milk or water to loosen it up as needed. That's it and it makes a big smoothie! Very satisfying snack.

I also love laughing cow, baby carrots, light high fiber english muffins, and Luna bars, frozen bags of veggies. All the other healthy foods I love are boring because I am for REAL food not FAKE food! :)
