Need some motivation!

Hey y'all! My name is Torrie and I'm twenty-three years old. I downloaded the my fitness pal app about a year ago and lost about five pounds before my birthday last year and after that I would only calculate my calories periodically. Mostly because I didn't want to see that once again I had gone over my calorie goal for the day. I stopped going to the gym and started making excuses as to why I couldn't go to the gym or work out at home.

Well now I'm saying enough is enough! My starting weight was 149 and I'm 144 now. I've made a workout routine for myself, I've started counting calories again and I've started making better decisions about the food that I put into my body. I realize the importance of having someone there to motivate you and keep you going when you think it pointless and feel like throwing in the towel. So, lets motivate each other! Friends?

  • Hi Torrie! I also did the same thing. I joined back in June and got tired of seeing myself go over my calorie goal so pretty much just gave up.. Now I am back right where I originally started. Sending a friend request!

    Hi Torrie! I'm Randi. I'm on my 3rd crack at MFP and ready to make 2013 my best year yet. I know that life gets in the way sometimes and I think I fall back on it as an excuse... so I've let myself fail for the last time because I am now going at this full force with some new "buddies" on here to help motivate and inspire me... and I hope I can do the same! I sent a request. :)
