Hello.
Im 5'9" and currently 150lbs. Most of my weight seems to be sitting in my belly, thighs and *kitten*. Upper arms as well. Maybe I just shoulda said all over. lol. Anyways, Im looking to lose 10lbs. My BMR is 1479 and TDEE 2034. So I am eating 1500 cals on most days to try and lose 1 lb. or more per week. Is this really supposed to work? Like weather I exercise or not? I usally do exercise 3 times a week for sure - sometimes more. I also lift heavy twice a week and light once a week, although I have failed in this department for about a week now. Some would call me lazy.
Input appreciated! Mean or nice - I can take it. I think

It will work so long as you're honest with it and keep it up.0

I'm 5'10, 158, and have lost 30 pounds just walking to work every day and logging logging logging. I have 8 pounds more to go.
The flab is actually basically gone except for a bit left in my abdomen. For me, I tend to suddenly look flabby, lose 5 pounds, and then have everything tighten up again. I think what is happening is that the underlying fat tissues is being metabolized and there is a less 'stuff' within and between my cells and tissues and muscles. Then the muscles tight up and I look okay again.
Anyway, it's hard to do in the winter, but just walking (fast walking) has done great things for my abs, back muscles, butt, thighs, and arms. No, I"m not going to look cut, but I do look fine.0 -
I'll be joined a week tomorrow - and so far have lost just over 4 pounds. I think the logging really helps - foods I would have considered harmless are now gone! Things like dressing etc are the worst. Exercise is helping I walk half an hour to my bus and then try to do half an hour on exercise bike most evenings,
Good Luck - its def gonna be worth it!0 -
I am 5'5" and 150 and my stomach is my difficult area. I have noticed it has gotten smaller since I've been at this but what weight are u aiming for? If u are 5'9" 150 seems small already........ I am 5'5 and 150 and I don't look fat and my husband doesn't want me to lose much more.......0

My husband thinks I look great too and doesn't want me to lose weight! Well guess what! Im not looking good for anyone, I want to look good to me. No I don't think Im fat at 150lb but Ive been at 140lb before and that's where I wanna be again. I ****ing loved it!!! Felt so sexy and hotter and sexy!!! lol. My belly is the worst area with injection scar tissue, some stretch marks and just plain old fat lingering there. Point is, once the 10lbs is gone I KNOW my belly will be better and then instead of trying to firm up fat on my abs, I can actually firm up muscle.0
