Hello All,
I am 5'6/157 pounds and looking to get down to about 125 pounds. My daily calorie goal is 1200. I used to be run track in high school/college and loved the shape I had. I am looking for advice on how I can get back to that body. Any recommendations on cardio/strength training workouts and amount?
Thanks,
Brittany

I'm going to recommend the New Rules of Lifting books, but I do have a question. What workouts did you do when you were in track and had the body that you liked? That's more or less what I did, although with adaptations because I'm old, brittle and slow now.
I'm also going to recommend you look thru this tread

My cardio workouts consisted of sprints 100, 200, and 400's. My strength training consisted of full body heavy weight lifting. I usually lifted in the morning and ran in the afternoon. This was completed 6 days a week. Thanks so much for the suggestion and I will check it out.0
