I live in No Cal and just spent a glorious week on Maui, and my hubby and I want to spend more time there in the future, the weather and pace are perfect. I have been to Kona and Hilo and and would love to explore the big island more.

I am originally from Sacramento, California and my mother married a military man and we got transferred to Ewa Beach, Hawaii. It was awesome! Then he was transferred to Alaska.......

Hi, I'm a military wife and mom on Oahu who moved here last summer. Are there any good walking or running groups? I belong to the Kroc Center, which is great for classes. I lost a lot of weight with running in 2007 and even completed the Marine Corps Marathon in 2008, but due to injury, moving and weight gain am just not able to run any distance yet. Still, I'm out there and looking for motivation!
