Be in the best shape of my life, by 40!!

Hey there!! My name is Jeremy and I'm new to MyFitnessPal-

I'll be turning 40 in April of this year (2013) and my goal is to be in the best shape of my life when I turn 40, then to improve and continue from that point forward to lead a fit and healthy life!!

I started working out and watching what I eat in mid-December of last year, at that time I was 223 pounds and I've already lost 13 1/2 pounds so far!!!! I'm trying to go to the gym 6 days a week, weight training on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays & doing cardio/interval training on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I'm using some training tools, mainly the Bodymedia Fit and a Garmin FR70 HR monitor to keep track of my cardio/interval training.

Hoping that I can help encourage others, as well as to recive encouragement of my own! I feel that we'll all do better when we work together to foster success!!

    Great job on the weight loss!! I will also be 40 this year...July. My goal is to lose 40lbs by the time I hit 40!!

    I used to worry about turning 40, but I'm getting excited for it now!!
