I want to try getting past the guacamole stage. What else can you do with them besides eat them by themselves?

I put mine in my Fade Away shake for breakfast as a healthy fat.
I also put them in salads by the slice.

Sliced on whole grain bread with mayo
Eat them halved with some balsamic vinegar in the center, on top of quinoa
    On salad, sandwiches, etc.
On top of scrambled eggs, with some salsa too

wrap a piece of lunch meat around an avocado slice and enjoy a nice snack.

drizzle with honey and eat for breakfast.... ok not really the best choice for low cal.. but omg, delish.

enjoy in any smoothie.. sweet or savory avocado can go either way.

    sandwich/salad topping

Mash the avocado up and use instead of mayo

Make an alternative to alfredo sauce...avocados give you that creamy texture without all the cream!

Halve one, crack an egg in it, and bake it!

Drizzle with olive oil and garlic salt!

I love avocado sliced on a toasted bagel thin with a small amount of salted butter.

Also, they are great in salads, salsas, smashed and spread on sandwiches and so much more.

I simply cut the avocado in half, scoop out pieces into edible bites, and sprinkle a little seasoned salt on it.
I often eat that as a snack or as part of a meal. :)

Baked with an egg in the middle is delicious! To make it even better, when it's almost done cooking, sprinkle some reduced fat feta on top.

    - add slices to a veggie sandwich with tomatoes, cucumber, spinach, shredded carrot. YUM!
    - add them to smoothies!
    - add slices to salads!
    - Top certain soups like tomato soup with slices!
    - put slices in burritos!
    - top chili beans with slices!
    - Put slices on a veggie burger!
The possibilities are endless with avocado!

OK, take the avocado flesh, 1 - 2 TBS cocoa powder, 1 TBS vanilla, and as much agave syrup as you like and blend it together.... blend it really well. And Voila~...... healthy chocolate pudding! My wife says it is as good as sex, which might explain why I can't ever find the avocados I buy, and why I haven't had "any" in a long time.

Yes, there is a shake with milk or alternate milks. Try not to have the whole fruit just a portion. I Like Avocado sandwiches.

    mmmm... avocado!

I like to dice it up and put it on salads, hot spicy dishes (think chili - and I also do beans seasoned with cumin, cayenne, hot sauce and sauteed with tomatoes) .... it's also really good to take about 1/2 cup diced avocado, mix with some diced tomatoes (I use canned/no salt added), and some salsa and just eat it straight. so good! and good for you.

I wanted to post the same question - so thanks! I just saw a recipe where you whip 1 avocado with 1/2 cup plain yogurt and serve it with Sweet Potato Chili - "Sweet Potato Chili with Avocado Cream" - I can't wait to try this!

Mash up some avocado with finely chopped dill, lemon juice, salt and pepper and scoop it on top of some broiled salmon. Sounds weird but SO good. Also super delish in salds, wraps and sandwiches.
