What is your exercise routine?

Hey all,
I'm curious to know what your weekly exercise regimen is and what your results have been so far? I'm always looking to diversify my routine and learn from others!

    I do a mix of heavy lifting and cardio. My weekly schedule looks like this:

    Mon - Chest, Triceps
    Tuesdays - HIIT jump rope/abs
    Wednesday - Back, Biceps
    Thursday - HIIT jump rope/abs
    Friday - Shoulder, Legs
    Saturday - rest, regular walks
    Sunday - rest, regular walks

    I'm eating at 2220 cal at the moment but I'll be increasing it to 2330 tomorrow as my target calorie intake is at 2550 a day. I've lost 3 lbs so far with a 1.5 lb / week rate of loss. Still trying to grasp which works best with maintaining muscle and losing fat.
  • I have just recently gotten back on the workout/eating better thing with the new year...thanks to a group who absolutely inspires me. Soooo I usually start off the day with a little yoga (usually about a half hour), then after lunch I will either clean (if it isn't a laundry day [which is 2/7 days of the week]) or do some Just Dance on my Wii. I am struggling to put together a "legitimate" workout routine that I am not going to get tired of or that my body isn't going to get used to...so until then it is pretty much that.

    I've had a couple of girls' nights recently where we have busted out the Just Dance and busted our butts for TWO HOURS...ohhhhhh the calorie burn!!!! So worth it when my boyfriend orders pizza for us all and then scampers off to the workshop -_- LOL

    I do C25K three times a week, New Rules of Lifting for Women, three times a week, and have one rest day. Sometimes I go swimming.

    Thanks for the responses! I really need to work on building a normal regimen...right now I'm just trying to use up the rest of my various groupons that are about to expire. lol

    I forgot how much I love Just Dance...it's fun to do and fun to laugh at others doing it!

    Monday - Legs A (Weighted Pistols + remedial work)
    Tuesday - Dynamic Upper Body (One Arm Pushups, Weighted Chinups, Handstand Pushups, Curlz)
    Wednesday - 5Kish run (fast distance)
    Thursday - Legs B (Weighted Pistols, Glute Ham Raise)
    Friday - Static Upper Body (Planche, Front Lever, Back Lever progressions)
    Saturday - 5Mish run (long distance)
    Sunday - Yoga

    For strength days I use an intensity, volume, recovery undulating periodization (M-T and Th-F are linked). Also do some random stuff in there, like ab stuff, if it strikes my fancy.

    Also walk about 2 miles M-F on my lunch break.

    Wow, thanks again for the responses. It looks like I should work on being more regimented with my workouts.
