Here's a sentence(perhaps a bit long winded) that a runner would say:

"Sweet. I get to do fartleks today; unfortunately, as of my last long run I have DOMS and am out of Gu."

    I'm pretty sure I have a stress fracture in my foot, shin splints, worn cartilage in my knee and sciatica. I'll see if a 10-miler eases the pain.
