    no no! you aren't JUST an office assitant! You make that *kitten* work! if it weren't for you the entire office would implode. Their frustration levels get to high when they have to figure out how the phone works, and you keep everything organized and tidy. you are the STRONG one in that office...it's a real job, and it's a damn hard job!

    During the school year I am a research assistant. Mostly I code data.

    Last summer I worked as a cook at a small bar and as a caretaker for a disabled adult. I honestly don't know what I'll be doing this summer. I'm hoping to start waitressing again. I miss that money.

    good luck with that! education is very rewarding..but i just hope you dont live in oklahoma!!! there are NO teaching jobs, and there are over a thousand unemployeed teachers here!!!

    Well, right now I pay my bills as a sales associate at a liquor store. I actually really like it though, it's much more enjoyable than normal retail, and they send us to wine tastings and stuff from time to time. If it paid more I wouldn't mind having it has a fall back career.

    That being said, my true career is a theatrical stage manager. I was a full time intern right after college, and I'm working freelance these days. Working on a great show right now, but it doesn't pay enough to cover all my living expenses. I am working on booking some gig this year that would be full time, which I'm excited about. My goal is to have a full time theatre gig (outside of summer stock) before the year is done.
