    I think 'Hot' is part confidence and part taking care of oneself. And when I say confidence I don't mean arrogance. I know many younger women that confuse sass and arrogance with confidence. As a 49 year old I've got enuff mileage on me that I have come to believe that time smoothes out the rough spots. :-) , meaning: there's not as much of a sharp edge to the personality. (that whole 'what do you mean by that?' attitude where a person is looking to be offended)

    By the time you're over 40 chances are you've seen a lot and done a lot in your life (if you've chosen to pay attention)

    'Hot' comes in so many shapes and sizes :-)) Can you be 'hot' over 40? Ask Tina Turner, Sophia Loren, Cindy Crawford. I think so.

    Oh absolutely!! I know when I hit 40, I finally felt comfortable, confident and really knew my body and how to use it ;). Hubby likes the 40 year old me! And confidence is the #1 thing that makes anyone sexy in my humble opinion!

    I am 43 i dont think im HOT anymore per say but im getting back to it !! lol I used to be called hot by the youngens, but i put on weight in the last 5 yrs and i dont think i hear it much as i used to..
    But i am like i said getting back to me!!! I dont think i look 43 however so that is a good thing.

    Totally Hot. I'm hotter than a lot of the ladies I see that are half my age. You can be gross at 40 too, though, so there are no guarantees of hotness at 40. :laugh:
