I think I'm eating too little calories?

So I've been logging into MFP for about a week now. I usually burn 1500 calories doing cardio, all in one day. I then eat back about the equivalent. I net around 400 calories each day. Is that bad? I feel like eating back all my calories from doing exercise is pointless. Can someone look at my diary and point me in the right direction?

just asked the same question and i was told that am eating way to few so from my understanding we need to have our net cals to 1200 that way you are at least losing 2lbs a week

i had been doing the same thing and for the past few weeks i seem to have stalled at the same weight but am going to try eating more and see if that helps healthy and clean of course

    good luck to you

oh and you need to make your diary public :)

Doing 1500 calories of cardio a day is excessive to start with. Back off on the exercise and eat a bit more.

Umm.. 500 a day would be more than sufficent. How the heck are you doing 1500 and why? You can't live your life working out that much forever.

It's fine for the short term. If you lose your period for more than 3 months than that could be a problem since you're a female. Add some resistance training in your workout routine to remind your body not to use your muscles as energy and that way you should get results much faster. Also, work on a better more stable plan once you start eating more 500 calories.

It's mostly on the machines so it's probably not all that accurate.
Most of it is from soccer training, I've been playing since I was 6 but quit for a while after an injury and I gained a lot of weight. I'm running almost as much as I used to do before my injury.
