I just add up all the ingredients and then divide by how many servings it is (or however much of it I ate if someone else ate some and I ate less). Such as, alfredo sauce I make, I'll add:

    Cream cheese
    Heavy whipped cream
    Shredded cheese
    Parmesan

Then divide it into servings and then what I ate...so, usually it makes 2 or 3 cups and I eat 1/2 cup of the sauce so I'll divide into 3 and then put in 1/2 a serving.

    Hope that makes sense

that is basically what i do too... i have been baking food for 3 days trips and their low in a lot of things.. :)

with the granola bar i did, i cut it 4/4
so that makes 16. there is your serving for 1 piece out of 16
you take the number you got from the calories and all the ingredient you added and how much you put in. calculate that out by 16 and there you found your calories :) the one i did was 37 calories ;D
