Opinions for an energy-boosting snack

Like a lot of you, I have a busy schedule with work, family and exercise. I work dayshift (6-230pm) and play on a couple of hockey leagues. The problem is, the start times for my games are pretty late at night. They range from 8pm to starting at 1040 pm! My question is this--I take a nap before I go skate. I usually get up a couple hours before my game. But--I'm hungry!! What should I eat that would give me some good energy, but won't fill me up like a meal would? Thanks for your thoughts!

I do one slice of wheat bread, 1 Tbs of PB, and 1 tsp of honey. I take this when I'm low on energy before a workout and never lets me down.0
