I need someone to tell me everything there is to know about lifting weights as a woman. Don't sugar coat it, either - be a blunt and borderline sociopathic *kitten*. Make sure to give examples of all of the workouts you've done, and how many experts you can quote, so I know you're legit, too.

I know a lady. I could try summoning her, if you like, but she doesn't have to prove anything to you.0

Every now and again lifting will cause your uterus to fall out, don't worry just put it back and continue your sets. You will get bulky even at a calorie deficit.0 -
I go 2x a week- one day for calves and the other day for biceps and sometimes forearm accessory work.0

Go ask Tracy Anderson - never lift more than 3lbs, you will get bulky and have wrinkled skin when you get old......0

For a more helpful answer check out bodybuilding.com
There are a lot of programs you see from what others have done and what results they have gotten from them. They also have people who they do a feature on (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/women.htm), and it shows you what exercises, diet, and supplements they used to get to where they are. It is not all about getting extra big and muscled, see for yourself.
Just reread your original post and see you wanted sociopath answers.... so maybe just ignore mine0 -

I AM NOT AN EXPERT however I dont mind sharing my non-expert routine. I have built a decent amount of strength over the past 6 months but I still have about 25lbs to lose. Here is my routine, nothing special, but it seems to be working for me.
I do a full body workout 3x a week, many people (advanced) split up body parts/days, however I am not at that level.
Mon/Wed/Fri looks something like this for me.
Warm-up - Walk on treadmill Incline 10 - 3.5mph (5 Minutes)
Barbell Squats (175lbs) - 3 sets of 10
Bench Press (75lbs) - 3 sets of 10
Dumbbell kickbacks (20lbs) - 3 sets of 10
Dumbbell rows (25lbs) - 3 sets of 10
Barbell Walking Lunges (45lbs) - 3 sets of 20 lunges
Clean & Press (50lbs) - 3 sets of 10
Deadlifts (80lbs) - 3 sets of 10
Cool Down - Walk on treadmill Incline 15 - 4mph (10 Minutes)
I dont enjoy cardio therefore I dont do much of it. I love weightlifting so that is where my emphasis is. I am trying to work more cardio in for weight loss purposes but right now strength is my priority. I lift as heavy as I possibly can and whenever I can comfortably complete my 3rd set, I increase my weight.
Hope this helps a little.
Also, just a side note, I really like Dana Linn Bailey and watch her youtube training videos. She is amazing, imo.0 -
Sorry, I'm too busy working on my dips and ensuring my member is between my legs during squats to offer any advice.0
