Your body is primed to receive energy and nutrients right after a workout. I look for something with a lot of protein and eat it as soon as possible.0

0-24 hours.0

59.5 minutes. never more- never less. Bad things happen. I can't tell you what they are, you just have to believe me.
If you want to eat after a workout then you should eat. If you don't want to eat right after a workout then don't.0 -
Coaches always told me no more than 30 min after a workout, something with protein is best.0

As soon as I get home... but for no other reason than I'm hungry and I LOVE my protein shakes0

Nutrient timing is largely irrelevant but I still have a shake and ice cream within about 30 minutes of my workouts and follow with a small meal within a couple of hours. Its habit nothing more.0

That said I'm always hungry right after training so that's when I eat.0 -
I like to have chips and dip on the treadmill so I don't go in to starvation mode while I'm running.0

Whenever I get hungry after a workout. Immediately post-workout, I'm too wore out to contemplate doing much of anything outside of chugging water and sitting down.0

I eat a sandwich between sets.
But honestly, I eat whenever I get hungry. My appetite usually disappears when I work out, then comes back maybe 1-2 hours later.0 -
well, I'm still working on my protein coffee today. So, I drank a sip right before running, and then ran, then instantly resumed it when I got home.
The other day I had to take a break mid-lifting to go eat a protein bar in the locker room. It was a long workout.
I let my hunger dictate when I eat, not any hocum rules.0 -
