are you exercising your abs? Losing fat is only part of the equation in how you look. The muscle underneath is what really shapes you.0
-
Hm I have more problems with lower than upper. But I doubt strength training and clean eating would make matters worse so give it a try!0

To get rid of fat anywhere, you're going to have to lose weight overall. Strength training and cardio will help you be toned and healthier, but you can't spot tone. You'll have to lose the fat on your stomach, which will happen from eating less calories than you burn each day.0

At that weight, you are at a healthy BMI, I wouldn't suggest losing any more. Are you doing anything to tone your body? I would recommend eating to maintain your weight and doing some weight training (no, you won't bulk up) to add some muscle tone. A little definition will fix that right up.0

It bothers me too, but for me it's mainly just extra skin. I have a little bit of weight to lose yet, but hopefully as I lose that and tone up in general it will slowly shrink back into place. I've heard it can take up to 2 years after a significant weight loss for your skin to shrink to where it's ultimately going to be, so we'll see where I end up after I lose the last 35ish lbs and give it time. The only surefire solution I know of for extra skin is surgery, and though I know a lot of people do that I'm so squeemish around doctors I'm not sure I'm willing to go there.0

Yep, mostly extra skin left from my previously unhealthy life. Not much other than surgery for mine, but if you still have enough elasticity in your skin in may tighten up given time. I've given mine ~ 8 years, so it ain't going anywhere in its own. Good Luck!0

She could pretty safely lose another 10 pounds if she really wanted to. Not saying that this is the only way to go but it isn't like she's close to underweight.
OP: Losing 5-6 pounds of all (mostly) fat will make a huge difference on your frame. To maximize fat loss and minimilize muscle loss, I'd say if you plan on losing change your goals to 0.5#/week, eat a lot of protein (probably around 90 g), and look into lifting heavy. Doing the same without the caloric deficit (goals to 0#/week) will also give you significant results assuming you are new to lifting. In my profile picture, there is only about a 1.5# difference between the before and after.0 -
I think you have to watch your sodium intake and do lots of Abs workout. You are at a healthy BMI, and that's brilliant, exercise is the key I believe!! Good Luck :happy:0

My upper stomach was bulging when I neared my goal. I wasn't very happy with the way it looked. Then one day I felxed it and found out it was solid muscle. Now I'm happy with the way it looks because when all my fat is going to be gone that's what will be left. Also I notice it bulges more after I eat, but that's because my stomach is right under there.0
