Hey Everyone,
This is a new experience for me and so far, I'm really enjoying it. I was referred to "My Fitness Pal" after reading a friends blog on a popular social networking site. I decided to check out the website and HERE I AM!!
I've always been a hefty build, but the last few years have been really tough (especially as I get older). I have several past injuries which make working out almost impossible (back, ankles, knees). I belong to a local gym and after attempting to work out, I am in PAIN for the next WEEK. Its not the kind of "good" pain you feel after a good workout.....its the kind that debilitates you for several days and makes you not want to bother.
Finding out about this site is giving me some hope to keep track (safely) of the things I can and cannot do. Also, I've never tracked the food I ate before so this is a new learning tool for me and I must say,,,, AN EYE OPENER. Within just a couple of days of being a member, I can see the areas I need to work on (i.e. fat content).
I'm getting married July 25th so I am even more empowered to look and feel better walking down the aisle.
Feel free to drop me a response at any time,
Soul
