But with that I say this, I have learned that it's not really a certain weight that I'm after but measurements. I want a 28 inch waist, 38 inch hips, and 24 inch thighs. If I can get there, no matter what the scale says, I will be ecstatic.0 -

The doctor says I'm 5' 4 and 3/4" but I swear she read it wrong, and I am forever claiming 5' 5".
I just started the first step of my weight loss journey on January 1st, and I'm just over 2 weeks in. My scale wouldn't weigh me before, so I had to guess at my starting weight. I guessed about 365. I'm happy to say that today for the first time, my scale weighed me - while I may not be thrilled with the number, knowing that it is now weighing me means I've lost something.

My goal right now is to just be under 150, to put me at a healthy BMI. Once I get there, I'll see what I want to do. My guess is that I'll eventually settle somewhere in the 135-145 range, but it's just a guess. So long as I'm under 150, I would rather focus on how my body looks and feels than the number on the scale.0 -

Like another poster said, I'm not exactly sure about the number I want to ultimately get too be, I'd rather look at my overall fitness level and how I look and feel once I'm closer to 140. For now though the goal is weigh/fat loss.
