Super Bowl, on plan, or planned day off?

Will you stay on plan all day, or are you planning for a day to eat more than usual? Or will just just play it by ear?
I'll be honest.... I'll eat WHATEVER I want that day, but try to keep my portion sizes down. We have a party at my house every year and it's a blast. Nobody really watches the game after the 1st quarter.

I will keep it under control that day. I lost 67 lbs over football season while tailgating every weekend. I certainly didn't do that by calling them all free days, so the SuperBowl wont be free either.0
-
Day OFF - but within reason. The good thing is we are having a party here so I can control a good portion of the snacks. But I will definitely be trying everything that looks tasty!0

Day off, but not as bad as it would have been had my team made it to the game.0
-
Day off, only really because I don't drink beer any more and will be that day. Probably wont eat too bad tho.0
-
Day off! If I reach my super bowl goals!!!! Otherwise on plan!0

My team is the Lions, that's enough to kill any appetite.0

It's just another day to me.0

I'm confused. I thought it was a football game not an eating event? I'll be on plan that day but If I go a little over it won't be the end of the world.0

Clearly you are confused. LOL.0 -
Football!!!! Woooooo! Go Patriots! Also, I will be eating whatever I want to that day, it's just one day.0

My NY Giants didn't even make it into the playoffs ......... I am in mourning :sad:0

I think I'm going to find some great recipes on Skinnytaste so I won't feel so guilty about indulging a bit. Go Falcons!0

Clearly! :drinker:0 -
It wouldn't be a proper party without homemade hot wings! So, definitely not going to be a light day.0

ill stayn on track, I might go to a friends and they love winhs and big samdwiches, but im a vegetarian, so ill make buffalo cauliflower instead of wings, the only thing that could go wrong is chips and dip, which happen to be my favorite0

I'm probably running a 5K that morning, or if I don't signup for it, I'll go to the gym and kick my *kitten* for an hour or so. That should cover it...0

What is the buffalo cauliflower of which you speak?0 -
On plan. I'll swim 2 miles or a 5k and lift that day and get 2000 + extra calories for the day :bigsmile:0

We're hosting a party with pizza and chips and dip and a vegetable platter. I would like to say I'd just stick to the veggies, but I think I'm going to allow myself a little freedom. I don't care for any of the teams playing, but at least I'll be having fun with friends.0

This Maryland girl will only care about the Super Bowl if the Ravens are in it...so if they make it, I'll be having a day off to have a viewing party. If they don't, the healthy eating goes on as planned!0

lol mine too~! seriously.0 -
i've hated the super bowl ever since it fell on the day of 18th birthday and i had to work a 10 hour shift because all the crazies needed more doritos, beer, & fun dip.
so this year, i will be having fun in NYC on my birthday and yes, it will be a weekend "off" (not that i ever eat atrociously anymore, maybe some pizza and wine)0 -
WOW! Is it that time again? Doesn't seem like a year since you were all talking about it! There were some CRAZY food pictures posted on a Super Bowl topic last year, people really do go all out don't they lol :drinker:0

Same here!!
With that said, Saturdays are my days to eat whatever the *kitten* i want to... I'll simply do this on Sunday for superbowl instead.0 -
If the Falcons make it there will definitely be a party. Healthy breakfast and lunch and extra workout...then it's on for the Game. It's only one meal...Go DIRTY BIRDS!!!0

*checks watch*
The Super Bowl Freakout is starting right on time0 -
Ugh my poor Steelers crapped out. I don't want no ravens in there. Or NE. But one of them will end up there and I will by cheering for the other team instead. I won't be eating anything crazy.0
-
I'm not counting a single calorie on Super Bowl Sunday.0

Just like on New Years Day, I plan on getting up, running my own personal 5K, then let the barage begin. Only to be followed up with Boot Camp the next morning, (work off them wings and beer!!)0
