Should I count rod’s weight?

I have adjustable dumbbells, while the plates weigh 5kg each; the rod itself is around 1kg, so the dumbbell that I end up with is 11kg. So should I be logging it as 11kg or 10kg?

It doesn't really matter as long as you do it consistently, however, yes you should be using the total weight.0

I've measured my rod, but never weighed it. Now I'm curious and might have to give it a try.0
