I had a few. One was no soda for a year. Two was no McDonald's until I get to my goal weight. I'm addicted to it. And three was only watch tv every other day. O and do something active every day. So far I'm going strong on all of them. Yay for 2013.

My resolution was to drink water. I would say 'more water' but considering I currently drink next to none I just need to 'drink water' lol.
I didn't even make it through Jan 1 :embarassed:

I am going to lose the weight - to 150 (5'8")
Signed up for a 70.3 with a friend.
Drastically reduce my soda/alcohol intake (don't see it being possible to cut it all out!)
Fit back into this pair of Spyder snowpants I purchased in 2007 when I was last at a low weight - those pants will fit again!
    Workout 5-6 days a week.
    GET A DIFFERENT JOB!!

A majority of my meals prepared at home have to be cooked via a stove.

    Kept so far.

Didn't really make a resolution this year but I did make a goal to get a new job closer to home. I have a job interview monday afternoon! I also made a goal of being in bikini shape for a water park trip my husband wants to take and I am holding to that with his help. Going on 3 weeks of working out and watching my calories again. 3 more weeks makes it a habit again.

Mine was to recommit to MFP, and get back on track with calories and begin exercising again. The hardest part of it for me was to give up Mountain Dew. Haven't had even 1 can in 2013. Staying strong and excited to keep going...and to re-join the gym.

what did you do to lose 16lbs in two weeks?

I assume you are asking me that question. My first step was cutting out regular soda, which automatically cut 500+ calories a day. Then I switched to a veggie diet, and cut my calorie intake to about 2,000. I also increased the amount of exercise I do each day. It's been a tough three weeks, but I aim to keep doing this :)

I hear that. Over the years I have drunk enough Mountain Dew to fill a tanker. It was very hard to stop this year. When I get a craving for it, I remind myself how much sugar is in a 1L bottle.

    4. Not to complicate my life more than what it already is, just enjoy what i can, whenever i can!

resolutions for this year: No burger 2013 (kept- and have put away $95 so far doing it!); read 1 non-fiction book for every fiction book I read (kept so far); make my bed every day (kept so far); simplify my life a bit (have unsubscribed from 20 mailing lists that were cluttering my inbox and am slowly but surely organizing my house, also attempting to make minimal/no plans at least one day a week.) So far so good!

My general goal is to eat healthy and workout..and no drive-thru food except coffee (with just milk)..but I'm setting mini-goals each week:

W1: No junk food - accomplished
    W2: 6 glasses of water a day - accomplished
W3: Workout 3X a week for 30 mins - accomplished - I blew that one out of the water!
Not sure what my goal will be for week 4..I'm thinking maybe trying to cook a dish with a vegetable I've never tried before..

I'm also aiming to only weigh myself on the 1st of each month (although I caved on Jan 11 - hence the 7 pound weight loss to date) - I realized that I'd probably step on the scale if it's in the house - so, I dropped it off at my parents..I find that if I don't know how much I'm losing, I tend to eat better/exercise more..although I'm really excited to see my progress on Feb 1st!

No NY resolutions for me this year. I had myself on track in early Dec. & am sticking to it. I have noticied the traffic in my gym has decreased tremendously this week. But I am still there, 6 days/wk.

Giving up soda .....I call it pop......is rough all by itself! I was a 15 can a day Diet Coke drinker and have pretty much given it up. I do still have one every other week or so, but I feel SO much better without it!

I had three goals this year:

    1) Get outside with my daughter more. It's been so darn cold I haven't even been able to get started on that one. :(

    2) Get (and stay!) below 135lbs - I'm working on it!

    3) Learn all 60 sets of kata for my karate class so when I more this year I can continue to train on my own, and maybe open my own little class wherever I wind up. I'm at 50/60, so I have confidence I can manage this one. :)

    I never made one.

    I guess I should now.

    1. Make my bed everyday.
    2. Clean my apartment every week.
    3. Eat healthy, and exercise more ( have been very lax with that, but still lost 1 pound, not sure how though)
