Tips for cellulite....HELP!?

Never had it until I gained about 20 pounds. My mom never had any until she gained some weight either so I don't think I'm doomed with bad cellulite forever because of genetics. I'm hoping that when I lose weight it will reduce but is there any other advice? I've heard mostly just reducing body fat by eating at a deficit and doing some strength training to maintain muscle mass. I'm eating at a 15% cut right now.

I eat a healthy diet, lots of fruits, vegetables and lean protein especially, drink lots of water and I don't drink soda or anything like that. Only green tea with no sugar.

I do weights 2 - 3x a week for 25 - 30 minutes, I do a lot of squats, lunges and deadlifts and I have a job that keeps me moving and walking a lot.

Any advice would be appreciated.

ETA: Also...why would i have it only on one leg? It's only on my right thigh, not both. :?

You're doing everything you should be doing. You just need patience and it will eventually come off.

    OK. I hope you're right :S
  • I read this a while back, but if you rub the areas your getting the cellulite in, it will sort of spread out whatever it is causing it, making everything a bit looser. It's fat deposites, or something of that nature. I've seen skinny girls with it and larger ladies. If you use lotion or something, just put that on yourself normally and rub it in a bit more around your problem areas, like a deep tissue massage. Hope this helps!
