It concerns me that it is left sided chest pain. I am not trying to scare nor am I a healthcare professional but I used to work in the ER and anytime someone came in with left sided chest pain you have to assume it could be the heart. I would get this checked out ASAP just to be safe!

why be worried about blokes looking ? anyway if it only started when you done exercise, it could be you over done it a little and strained a muscle tissue. ask yourself what exercise you may of done to effect the breast area. (chest muscles). press ups or dumbells ?
  • You know, I'm definitely not an expert but depending on your breast size, it may be because of when you jog or exercise etc. you are moving your breasts up and down and it may cause pain. To see if this is the cause, try holding that breast while doing the activity and see if it decreases or stops the pain (do it somewhere private though haha). Or just jump up and down and then do the same thing holding that breast and see if it makes a difference. If so, you should buy sports bras that fit pretty snug and it should make the pain go away.
  • Also, if it doesn't feel like the muscle that's hurting, I would say definitely go to a doctor.

Possibly a pulled muscle...I have large breasts and that happens to me when I move a lot sometimes....it kind of feels like a "catch" in my chest and hurts to take deep breaths or to stretch my chest but after twisting around a little it goes away. I was told by a doc that it sounded like a pulled pectoral muscle. I have no heart problems. But you should still ask a doctor to be safe.

Maybe a more supportive sports bra?
  • would recommend your dr, but I agree with the others it is prob a strained muscle. Try wearing a tighter sports bra or two if you have large breast. I have small ones but still need the support of them not moving around when doing plyo!

I'm an RN and was thinking the same thing.
    Or a muscle and/or nerve.

If you're feeling the pain in your breast when you're exercising and not feeling pain inside your chest (like heartburn or a strange flutter) then it's likely just a pulled muscle that needs to be relaxed. Ease up on your exercises, particularly in that area, and continue to eat within your goal calories. Give the muscle a few days of rest and you should feel better.

But if the pain is inside your chest, be it the heart or the lungs, go see a doctor.

Heart related signs/symptoms are atypical in women.
Pain, pressure, numbness, tingling ANYWHERE could be a heart related symptom.
