Home workouts

Options
Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a workout routine to do at home (other than walking because I do that already or work out DVD's-or WII fit and stuff like that). I own a set of dumbells, resistance bands and a ball and a treadmill but have never used them(except for the treadmill which bores me to death). Do you have a link or a website that you can refer me to? Something with pictures showing different exercises would definitely help so that I could print and hang up in my workout area. Any help you could give me would be great. Thanks!

This is a good website as it has many different workouts that are available to print, as well as ones for at-home:

    http://www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness

You could also use YouTube - they have a lot up on there, on the Be Fit channel amongst others - you could watch as you do?

These websites also have lots of stuff to choose from:

    http://www.workoutbox.com/exercises/home-exercises/

    http://www.fitwatch.com/exercise/10-ways-you-can-exercise-at-home-without-any-equipment-10.html

    Good luck!

I do this one (the hour long work out) a lot and burn TONS of calories:

All you need are some small weights and a treadmill.

Have you ever tried Tiffany Roth Workouts on youtube? http://www.youtube.com/user/TiffanyRotheWorkouts/featured

I find that they are really helpful for days when I don't want to go to the gym. If you join her mailing list, they send you a list of how to put the workouts together through the week so you get the max benefit.

Also, I have searched Zumba workouts on youtube as well and there are full classes posted there so you could get a great 45 minute cardio workout. I couldn't agree more about the treadmill. Bore city!

    Good luck!

If you can find it...Jillan Micheals - Hot Bod in a Box. Its a box of cards (like playing cards) with an exercise on each card---pick out the cards and do those exercises. Awesome way to change things up and get some good exercise in--without it becoming boring!

I recently came across an app on Google Play called bodybot. It will customize a workout plan for you based on activity level and experience. No special equipment needed.

I have them all! That's all I do is work out at home. Jillian Michael's videos are my favorite. I have the Brazilian Butt lift series as well, which are also very good!
There's allot of free videos on YouTube also. There's one called Butt Bible. She does an upper & lower body workout. Jillian even has some on YouTube

    This...

    http://www.sport-fitness-advisor.com/circuit-training-workout.html

I posted about it five hours or so ago when someone asked about home circuit training, and I'd just found the site while wondering what I could do at home with my limited equpment (dumb bells and resistance bands). The page above outlines circuit training routines for dumb bells, resistance bands and your own bodyweight, with links to descriptions of the exercises, but the site seems to go on for miles and I'm still reading bits of it all this time later. I suppose getting up off my bum and doing some actual exercise would be useful :)

On youtube check out 'NerdFitness' and search for the beginner home routine, you can do it with hardly any equipment.

Fitness Blender on youtube! Or www.fitnessblender.com

Also, more challenging, but shorter vids: bodyrock on youtube. Or www.dailyhiit.com (they're easier to follow on facebook though)
