  • I'm in the military, spent the last 10 years working electrical systems on Combat search and rescue helicopters, now I teach new recruits to work electrical systems on all the aircraft in the air force.

    At least we sell the nice stuff, though - high-end European sports and luxury. :)

    Formerly, managed a tutoring business, tutored all grades (college included) in advanced math and science, history and English. Also used to coach high school cheerleading just below the competitive level.

    That's what pays the bills, but I also do some BBQing and Food Prep for events like golf tournaments and company parties.

    Well, I up until 3 weeks ago, I was a Technical Consultant in the I.T. field servicing small to medium businesses.

    I started as an engineer in the Escalated Technical Support Group for the U.S. Largest Beer Manufacturer 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I have now landed my dream job.

    I am also a cook, maid, wife of almost 12 years, prostitute (you know that marriage is the only legal form of prositiution, LOL), and mom to 2 fur babies.
  • I'm a housewife as well. Althought I do know that term can offend some people so I'm also called a SAHM :wink:
    I have 3boys, 4 dogs and two cats to look after as well as a husband who works over seas at the moment.

    Mechanical engineering technician at a big chemical plant. They invent a new kind of plastic, and I design/engineer/install the new equipment to make it. It sounds really lame, but it's not.

    I work at an art gallery that rents art to set decorators and studio art departments here in Hollywood.
    I'm also pursuing another Bachelor's Degree...this time in nursing.

    Home daycare provider! Started this when my youngest was born.....its expensive to put three kids in daycare. This was supposed to be temporary until youngest started school. Now I can't even think about doing anything else! I love it!

    Studying to take the GRE to go back to school for my MLIS. I want to be a children's librarian. HR is definitely NOT for me. Blech! I'd seriously much rather deliver pizzas full time were the benefits (namely pay, paid leave, & insurance) the same. :laugh:
