OK well this is kind embarrassing :embarassed: to admit but

with all the weight gain...I started to snore...REALLY snore loud!

Anyway...not sure what made it stop but it has stopped!

I suspect it could be the cardio...maybe the water intake...maybe the clean diet?

Not sure...but happy about it just the same.

What do you think causes snoring to stop??

By the way I am a nonsmoker.

Your thoughts please??

I'm not an expert, but it could be all the pressure on your chest, making it hard to breathe at night. Losing the weight cuts the pressure. That's just a guess.

My husband snores really bad. His doctor told him that when you gain weight, you gain it everywhere including your throat. This restricts the air flow. His doctor said as little as 20 pounds could cure the snoring.

I definitely start snoring when I reach a certain weight. So does my mother. I believe it is because of the extra weight pushing down on you and constricting/collapsing your airways.

Congrats on being done with snoring forever!! :flowerforyou:

When I gained the weight that is when I started snoring so, much my wife was concerned. With 10lbs gone I do not snore as bad either.

But to answer your question, I think b/c U R healthier your snoring has quit. It is not a coincidence.
    Keep up the good work.

The weight that you had lost was most likely the cause of the snoring-- because of the extra weight on your chest- hope that doesn't sound rude

As I gained weight my wife told me my snoring was unbearable. I was also suffering from sleep apnea. As I have begun to lose significant weight my snoring and apnea have all but disappeared. My doctor indicated that all the excess weight puts pressure everywhere.
