I just want ppl to feel how I do when I lose. So many ppl don't know the foods they eat are potentially adding weight even if they are eating a deficit!

oh Please have a look at mine. I've been on a 2 day binge tho. For the most part I have to limit carbs due to t2 diabetes.0

I will take some suggestions, we are friends and my diary is open...i literally just started trying to do 1200 cals the past couple of days, and of course if i still feel hungry i eat a healthy snack...i don't work out as much as i can due to a knee injury (possible surgery in the near future), but if you could take a look, i love constructive critisim (hope i spelled that right! LOL) :happy:0

I know what works for me - following my macros, staying within my calorie goal and eating whole and fresh foods over processed - and I'm pretty sure it's what works for most people as well. It's what the forums here generally discuss anyway, so um, thanks and hope you can help some new people who haven't read much or gotten the hang of this healthier lifestyle. :-)0

Please explain the bolded. Do you have any links to peer reviewed studies that we can look over to figure out why a calorie wouldn't equal a calorie?0 -

I know what works too. Eating at a deficit. No single food will make you gain weight.0 -

Alot of people really aren't sure what to eat. So I'm trying to reach out and help people continue their weight loss with smarter food choices. I know when I eat certain foods I stop losing weight and I will help as many people as possible despite the judging and negative feedback on this thread.

What are some of the food that you find stall your loss? And what are some of the ones you find most helpful?0 -

I find that white starchy foods: potatos, white rice, bread, refined sugar etc...all stall my loss. On the other hand when I eat foods like fish, chicken, brown rice I lose more weight. (obvious, yes)I dont lose weight easily, but when I eat the right combination of foods I lose consistantly. Everybody is different you just thave to keep adjusting your numbers until you find something that works-then stick to it like crazy!
Thats the great thing about MFP you always have a record of what worked and what didnt! You also have the added bonus of support from like minded people0 -

Interesting! And do you find that to be the case with calories and protein held constant? Also, any supplements in the mix?0
