'Snack' food thats high in protein but low in calories?

Hi,
I'm just curious if there's any 'snackage' food, that'll be low in cals but high in protein. I never seem to be getting enough of the protein! Thanks in advance ♥

    Crab sticks (16 cals per stick), turkey salami zapped to a crisp in the microwave (30 cals per slice).

    This is the holy grail! I have just started to add a very natural protein powder to my diet for this reason, but it would be considered medium range 'cal-heavy' (208 calories per 50 gram serve). For this reason I only have half a serve per day, however I have found this still increases my protein levels to where it should be. If I have the calorie budget left at the end of the day I will have the other half of the serve.
  • Water packed tuna.

    Smoked salmon is so low in calories! Pack lots of it onto cracker or something or make a little salad with it :)

    Greek yogurt in general. Plain mixed with 1 scoop protein powder per 1/2 cup yogurt. Only 200 calories with chobani 2% plain and Body Logix Strawberry Banana Burst protein powder. (35 grams protein)

    A good protein shake is best. I use Epic protein with a cup of water some ice, stevia and strawberries. 2 scoops of Epic gives you 38 gms of protein

    I didn't realise smoked salmon was so low calorie. I'm now having some for my dinner later instead of low fat cheese as there's much more protein for the same calories.

    Pumpkin seeds. David brand is low sodium but super salty ( no idea why) with 9 grams of protein a serving.

    I like Boar's Head No Salt Added Turkey -- you can get it sliced to order at the deli counter at Kroger and similar type grocery stores. 70 calories, 15 g protein, 55 mg sodium in a 2 oz. serving.

    Hi there! Here are some snack ideas that I tend to stick to:

    - Protein powder (usually 115 cal/scoop) - I add this to my oatmeal in the morning with a couple egg whites and some fruit (raspberries, strawberries, etc.)
    - Hard-boiled eggs (70 cal for whole egg, 20 for egg white only) - I add them to salads or eat them plain with some garlic salt
    - Carbmaster Yogurt (60 calories per 6oz. cup) - If you live near a Kroger, seriously go pick this up! Tons of protein and very few carbs/sugar! Love it plain, mixed into my oatmeal, or in a protein shake.
    - String Cheese (50 cal)- I buy the Fit & Active kind from Aldi, only 50 calories.
    - Small Curd, LF Cottage Cheese (80 cal/half cup)- I add pineapple (not in heavy syrup) to sweeten it up. Or some sugar-free vanilla pudding mix.

    Natural Yoghut is best - no added sugar
