I use Pandora. Like it or not, I use dubstep and industrial. (*I like it, just not Skrillex. He ruined the fun for everyone.) Dubstep is always 130-145 bpm. I have a DJ friend that does industrial clubs in Detroit so he whips up stuff for me that's at 130.0

Would you believe hard rocking shamisen (Japanese 3 string guitar/banjo).
The Yoshida Brothers - Kodo (Inside the Sun)

I actually don't listen to anything while I am lifting weights as I tend to focus on breathing correctly. I know it sounds stupid, but it seriously helps me push through if I concentrate on breathing properly. If I do cardio (usually a run once a week) I listen to Pandora's David Guetta channel.0

Grateful Dead.0

Somehow I missed that Pandora has channels! I've only used it by typing in a song, and say play songs like this. Good to know! Will check out the work out channel today.0

Metal/Hard Rock when I'm lifting. Pantera, White Zombie, Sepultura.
When I'm running, Old school rap and grunge0 -
my songs are really vulgar and have some freaky lyrics

Pandora "90 Hip hop" station!!!!! songs like: toosie roll, daisy dukes, da dip and etc!!!! I love it!0

I like to listen to disco, upbeat gospel and old school r&b:glasses:0

Depends what I am doing. For Yoga ocean waves mixed under "New age" relaxing or light classical pieces For my C25K training that I've just started (and suck at lol) the podcasts I downloaded for my MP3 player. For anything else that dose not already come with music (I find that tends to be best or the beats can get out of step) upbeat dance, trance, dupstep mixes I take a shine to on youtube or more often then not old school (1920's-1940's) boogie woogie swing (I know... I'm weird  )0

I have an excercise playlist on my iphone- it's all fun stuff that gets me into the elliptical, treadmill, etc… here's a sampling:
Madonna: Express Yourself
Dropkick Murphy's: I'm Shipping Up To Boston
Lady Gaga: Just Dance
Nine Inch Nails: Only
Talking Heads: Pyscho Killer
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Love Rollercoaster
Jamiroquai: Black Capricorn Day
Metallica: Wherever I May Roam
Beck: E-Pro
Mika: Grace Kelly
Led Zeppelin: Misty Mountain Hop
and the list goes on, but maybe something will catch your ear? Good luck

I have a play list (goes on close to 2 hours) with some of my favourite songs on my ipod which I listen to while I'm running.....just a few examples:
Black eye peas - let's get it started
Jayz and Kanye - Otis
LMFAO - I'm sexy and I know it and Party rock
One Direction - One thing and What makes you beautiful
Blue Travelers - Run around
Toni Basil - Mickey0 -
Everything! I use jog.fm to find songs that match my pace when I run. It really helps to keep me moving when I'm feeling lazy or to slow me down if I'm starting to run at a pace that would cause me to burn out too quickly. Most of the songs I use are around 155-160 bpm, some of my favorites are...
gin blossoms - follow you down
rihanna - cheers
the kooks - she moves in her own way
vampire weekend - holiday
passion pit - make light
I also listen to a lot of rap when I work out (which is odd since I'm certainly not a fan of rap any other time)0 -
This week has been full of
Foo Fighters
Red Hot Chili Pep
Ottis Redding
Sublime
Staind
TLC
George Micheal
Matchbox20
Johnny Cash
G n R
Ray Charles0
