Hi All!
I have been on this site for about a week, and I love it! It really helps keep my diet in check, and it is helpful to see if I have had too many carbs, etc for the day and be able to look and see what food items are causing me to go over.
I currently work out at the rec center at my university about 4 days a week. Before I joined this site, I had lost 16 pounds, and I want to lose 50 more. I am tall, and able to hide the 'flab' well but I will be happiest if I can lose most of this, and get back to my fit self!
Monday, the 3rd, I am starting P90X, and I am excited about the challenges it will bring!
Anyone else doing P90X or other beachbody programs????

Howdy from Houston, TX! So glad you have joined this site--its AMAZING!!! I am in week 3 of my first round of P90X and i LOVE it!!!! Be prepared to work hard and enjoy yourself when you see the results. I was surprised at how quickly my arms got toned. I'll post my before and 30-day-after pics next week but so far I'm down 8.4 lbs and am seeing the inches coming off. Good luck with your P90X--i'm here for you when you need motivation.
P.S. What Rec center do you work out at? I go to U of H for grad school :-)0 -

I am doing Power90 by Beachbody and started last Tuuesday. I am 49 years old and have "let myself go" over the past few years and need to loose about 30 lbs. I travel a lot for business and needed something that was "portable" . I also hate going to the gym but wanted and needed something to get me back into shape. I LOVE THE POWER 90. It is great! I feel like I am getting a workout that I can handle and it is about 30 minutes per day and I don't have to get dressed and go to the gym!!!!
Hope you enjoy P90X, thats next for me when I finish Power90. Let me know how you do!0 -
Hi Cass!
I am in San Marcos, and go to Texas State. Oh you have to keep me posted on how P90X is going for you. I am so excited about starting on Monday! My neighbor is going to be doing it with me, which will help keep me from slacking off.
I have been getting my diet in order this whole past month. (I was doing weight watchers before, but have switched and now eat mostly in the top 2 tiers of Michi's Ladder.)
I have lost almost 20 lbs, and want to lose another 50. Though 40 would probably make me happy as well.

Hi Stacy,
Power 90 is another good program. I have it, but at the time, it really didn't work for me. I have done slim in 6 in the past, but my diet was not on track. Now, it is!
Tony is a great motivator, and I'm so excited about doing P90X!
