what's the best easy to lose lower belly Fat??

I am nursing my 5 month old and find that when I cut carbs even a little it hurts my milk supply.. also seems to happen when I do cardio i thought it was a coincidence but since I've upped my carbs avg cut the cardio I've been back to normal. anyway, can I just duo strength training type exercises and lose the belly?? or does it not work that way??

Keep tracking, keep eating carbs and don't worry, the belly fat will come off. I found that I was my thinnest when nursing because of the calorie deficit. Do you do any formal exercise?0

I was doing An hour a day.. 30 minute cardio and 30 minutes strength training.. and the way to have to eat to maintain my supply im not losing a lb! I cannot lose weight and maintain my milk and im not at my thinnest that's for sure..0

Maybe it's ok to maintain for a few more months. It is really awesome that you are putting your baby first and doin g what is best. These years go by so fast. Even in two months when baby is having some solid food you may find that you can adjust a bit.
Btw, I gained weight when I stopped nursing, I have a feeling you won't because you have the tools you need.0 -
I just had to resolve with nursing I wasn't going to lose weight. Unfortunately I nurse for quite awhile and isn't lose the weight with my last pregnancy before I got preggo again! I'd just worry about you and your child and know that you will be able to work out and lose the weight once you are done! I'd just continue exactly as you are now. Lots of women can't nurse and lose weight, their bodies decide its one or the other!0

Yea, I've come to the same conclusion. just thought id ask and see if three was something I could do.. i mean, i have to eat quite a bit to maintain! But, i plan on nursing for a year so 7 more months. ay yi yi! My body of course is not a multi tasker lol0

Unfortunately you can't spot reduce. The only way is to just lose the body fat.
Also - before you start cutting things out of your diet or eating at a lowered calorie goal - PLEASE check with your doctor on this!0 -
Baby is first for sure! Maintaining my milk means much more to me than losing the weight.. it's frustrating but I can deal for now lol0

Joylia, i already lowerd my calorie goal but it made my supply tank.. I've since increased significantly!! I have ti eat more than the normal 2000 a day.. it's crazy how it eating and nursing go hand in hands..0

By lowering your overall body fat because you can't spot reduce. Do ab work so when the fat melts off your muscles show. Strength training. Cardio burns calories but if you really want to change your body you need strength training.0

I was told by nurses when I was in the hospital after having children that breastfeeding would help to tighten your stomach. I'm not sure how true because I didn't breastfeed long enough but the nurse who told me said she did and she had a very flat stomach and her child was young.0

Lol, i agree.. maintaining milk is more important. was curious if I could somehow do both. im going to try just strength training anf se what that does.. without limiting calories and probably no cardio0

I have read that your body needs 250 extra calories during pregnancy but 500 extra calories during nursing. I definitely lost some weight while I was nursing but it takes more than nursing to get back to normal (believe me!!!).
Since your question was actually about belly fat, I suggest you don't worry about cutting calories that the baby needs. Find some ab exercises and strengthen your abdominal muscles. Pregnancy can really weaken those muscles and I think exercises will help more than calorie counting.0
