RUN to store and get chips, burn some calories.

Puhleese!! I'd be winded and wheezing before I even get a block away.

And you'd probably look funny running home with a bag of chips. Lesson to be learned - always buy the chips. No one ever had something horrible happen because they had extra chips in the house.

For some reason the chips and salsa can never coexist in my house at the same time.

ME: Brought home some of that salsa you like.

HIM: Oh, cool. We're out of chips.

ME: What?! There was almost half a bag last I checked.

HIM: Yeah, I ate them with my soup.

    (A few days later)

    ME: Grabbed some chips.

HIM: Oh, cool. We're out of salsa.

ME: WTF? I JUST bought salsa.

HIM: Yeah, I know. I ate it with the leftover rice.

    ME: &*&^%&%*(^@(#$&902$*

HIM: You should get this grocery shopping thing figured out.

If needed, you can call one of those 800 numbers for free counseling. I know how difficult this must be for you...

I'm touched by your story as this could happen to me... hope you were able to get creative and have your salsa with some fresh veggies such as broccoli or cauliflower or carrot or celery sticks. I often make a meal of salsa & the bite size tortilla chips, grated cheese and have started slicing an apple to have with it... yeah... hope you had an apple. smother apple slices with salsa.. you can't go wrong... and that'll teach ya to plan ahead... hahaha

the moral is to buy 2 of each (chips and salsa), even if you think you have one or the other at home.....

    Now for bigger issues:
