Hey everyone, I need some help.
I have an Ironman Timex heart rate monitor with a chest strap and it is currently reading 30 bpm. Even when I am running at a high rate, it still reads 30-40 bpm. I get it wet as I'm suppose to and still nothing. It used to work just fine but now it doesn't work. I replaced the battery in the chest strap so I'm clueless.
Can you help?

Do you wash the chest strap weekly? I have a polar rather than a timex but I'm assuming they are similar. My first guess would have been the battery but since you fixed that and get it wet this is the only thing I can think of...0

I guess I have not "really" washed the strap before. I have just always rinsed it off but never washed. I'll give that a shot and see the outcome.0

maybe if it's not washing the strap, it could be the transmitter's battery0
