Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End by Manel Loureiro and Pamela Carmell

Translated from Spanish language, two more books in the series also to be translated. It is so very believable. :frown: I couldn't put it down.

It's $3.99, but if you are an Amazon Prime Member you can borrow it for FREE!

Next for me is The Remaining by D J Molles, $2.99, it's another series. Borrow it for free also with Prime!

    Book 1: The Remaining
    Book 2: The Remaining: Aftermath
    Book 3: The Remaining: Refugees.

I haven't read this myself, but I came across The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and the Undead at Half Price Books the other day. I didn't buy it, had to concentrate on gifts for other people.

I'm actually reading World War Z right now. It has been amazing so far, I can't put it down.

Also, if you are a fan of the Walking Dead, you should check out the comic books. They are also really good, but I'm not sure if you can find them for Kindle. But, you can look them up on youtube. I just hit play, pause till i'm done with a page, and hit play again!

yOU CANNOT READ WALKING DEAD ON kINDLE. iT IS TWO SMALL. I would download it from a torrent and read on computer or full sized tablet. currently on ep 106

Im a total zombie loving nerd and love a good zombie read! I like the old fashioned shambling zombies but have read one or two books that have thrown in some runners and done it well. I liked a book called the remaining which had the military hero idea to it but haven't found many others that have a military vs. Zombies story. I like the good old fashioned everyday Joe surviving the zombies. I am looking for books that suck you in and keep a page turning pace.

I'm open to all suggestions, I feel like ive read all the good ones and keep getting duds!

I need to keep up to date on zombie apocalypse defenses, afterall I'm losing weight partly so I can be fit enough to avoid these suckers!

Have you read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? I really loved that. I think im going to read Warm Bodies next.

For the people that read World War Z, would you have to read the first one to enjoy it?
  • Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End by Manel Loureiro and Pamela Carmell

OMG! BEST ZOMBIE BOOK EVER! I could not put it down! I highly recommend it!
  • Carrie Ryans "The Forest of Hands and Teeth"

It's a very good triology, the people who liked Amanda Hockings Hollowland/Hollowmen should read this one also!

Interesting. I'm all about the paranormal but haven't read tons of zombie-specific ones. Think I'll try a few of these out. Thanks!
  • World War Z, hands down.

I wrote a zombie novel last year, Zombie Zone Zero, under my pen name, Robert Knight. It received a few good reviews from places like Buyzombie etc... If anyone here wants to try it, it'll be free on Amazon tomorrow, the 24th.

Adrian's Undead Diary you can get it for free with Amazon prime or online for free if you don't http://adriansundeaddiary.com/diary-entries.htm#Sep10. Its a blog and one of the best zombie fictions I have read. I read it online. I love world war Z and I hate to think what they did to it for the movie. I agree the Newsflesh series is great. Day by Day armageddon was ok, LZR 1143 was ok, Z.A. Recht books were ok. I am reading another online zombie fiction right now http://www.ctales.com/ct/tzc1 Start with zombie chronicles 1 . Its good but a bit more super zombie if you know what I mean but I think AUD is better. I have read what zombies fear online too. Its ok but I still like AUD.

I am writing down all your suggestions. THanks I love a good zombie story.

"Warm Bodies" is pretty interesting, if a bit simplistic. Original idea, at least. It does have some content, though.
