I recently got a few zumba dvds from a girlfriend and I started to do them last week but I can't find them in the exercise data base on mfp, so I've been logging them as general aerobics. I'm usually not very good at estimating calories burned so maybe it's about the same but I thought that zumba is pretty popular I can't figure out why I can't find it.

I use this: http://caloriesburnedhq.com/zumba-calories-burned/ I found it and my Zumba Wii to be a very close match.0

Any reason not to use aerobic, high impact? That's what I use on MFP.0

Or... get a HRM? Especially if you go full out and add an extra bounce to your step. I know that Zumba for me (120lbs, 127 yrs, around 20% fat, female, 5'3, average heart beat of 170/min) averages to 10 calories per minute. This is 30 cals more in a 40 minute session than the MFP entry for Aerobics, Step, with 10-12 inch step.0
