I wonder whether anyone can advise - I am often in the red when it comes to protein but below my calorie count. What foods can I choose that are high on calories but literally no proteins?
Thanks

You should not be scared of protein. Go into the red, its only a colour.0

your body will only take what protein it can, and the rest you will urinate out.

If it's what MFP set for you I found it to be a little low. I chose my own Macros. I aim for a higher protein/fat and lower carb ratio. I find that I don't do as well mentally on low fat.0

High levels of protein is a good thing. Going over your protein will not affect your weight loss.
Neither will going over your carbs, fat or sugar for that matter.
The only things I monitor are my calories and sodium, and I try and aim for 100g of protein a day. Everything else just lands where it wants to.0 -
MFP's protein setting is a bare minimum. It's good to go over.0

Gosh thanks for the quick responses. I note that Olive oil is a good way to get the calories up. Thanks all0

ETA: By the way, learning to balance your macros to fit in your calorie goal is part of the real fun of MFP!!! The day you do it - you'll feel like a real winner!0 -
