Your BEST breakfast!

Iam currently eating multigrain cheerios for breakfast and I know its not a very good choice...
It makes my bloodsugar go sky high just to drop very quickly after a while and make me crave all kinds of unhealthy foods.
What do you guys eat for breakfast?
I know porrigde is very good, its healthy and I stay full longer and oats actually balances our bloodsugar...
But other than that Iam really not a fan of porridge..
If you have any miracle way to make porridge taste fantastic please share
(Or any other healthy filling breakfast)

Honey wheat double fiber English muffins. I eat them with natural peanut butter, but they're sweet by themselves!
Also, Greek yogurt and granola with fresh fruit
eggs (I do three egg whites/one yolk in an omelet) mixed with onions peppers, spinach.
Whole wheat toast with goat cheese and a dab of jam (goat cheese tastes like cream cheese when topped with a small amount of jam)
Turkey, egg whites, and a sprinkle of cheese with spinach on Ole's high fiber low carb tortilla wraps. Mmmmmm mmmmm!

I usually eat either:
- smoothie (1/2 c frozen blueberries, 5 frozen strawberries, 1/2 c plain yogurt, 1 scoop protein powder, raw kale, 1 c water)
- oatmeal with a banana, cocoa, and brown sugar
- quinoa porridge with frozen blueberries and a banana
my BEST breakfast though? a breakfast salad!
1/2 avocado, diced
1 medium tomato, diced
crumbled bacon, shredded prosciutto, shredded chicken... anything
shredded cheese
2 poached eggs
salt and pepper
it just comes out to more calories than I usually spend on breakfast so I sometimes actually have it for lunch, but it is SO good.0 -

I prefer a one or two egg omelet with an ounce of cheese. All covered with a healthy dose of Cholula (hot sauce!) Sometimes wrapped in a small tortilla and pan fried crispy (1 egg if I do that).
If I'm really hungry in the morning, or know I have a very active day or long wait until lunch, 3 eggs. That's a rare occasion. I feel just as full with 2 as three.
Nice warm breakfast, I feel satisfied and full, and not a ton of calories.0 -
Shame on me but I had a Smart One with eggs, ham, roasted potatoes and cheese. 240 cal. It was so......good and the portion was great.0

I like making breakfast easy, so an easy one is Ezekiel cereal with rice milk for me.
Sometimes a couple eggs with reduced fat mozzarella cheese & tomatoes. I don't like onions, peppers, or mushrooms, but a lot of people throw them in with eggs too.0 -
I make a scrambled omelet: 1 whole egg, 2 egg whites, two tablespoons skim milk. Pour it into a nonstick 12 inch skillet an let it cook til it starts to set. Then I flip it like a pancake to cook the other side. Then I chop it up with the spatula so it makes little strip like chunks. Then I throw in about a half cup of organic baby spinach chopped and 1/4 cup diced red onion, season with a little salt and some pepper mix it all up and let it cook two or three more minutes until spinach is wilted. Top it with one whole diced Roma tomato and 1/4 cup part skim shredded mozzarella. Im not much of a breakfast egg person, but it is delicious!
I eat this with my coffee, a cup of milk, a Greek yogurt, and a piece of honey wheat toast with polaner all-fruit spread. Keeps me full for a long time!0 -
i either have weight watchers tropical fruit flakes with skim milk or plain unsweetened yoghurt, or a couple of crumpets with low-cal spread and peanut butter. I HATE breakfast, and the only reason I eat it is that i don't like fainting and if I don't have breakfast I dont'make it to lunch0

Scrambled eggs with or without cheese rocks! Also omelets loaded with delicious veggies and spices!0

My last breakfast I had
1/4 cup egg white mixed with
1 fresh mushroom
1 broccoli floret
1/9 cup fat free shredded cheese
(put the egg mix in 1 crunchy taco shell)
1/4 cup kashi puffed wheat cereal
1/4 vanilla almond milk
1 strip thin and crispy turkey bacon
And a small serving of thawed frozen fruit
Totals 171 calories and was filling and lasted awhile.0 -

A slice of wholegrain toast topped with an egg fried in a small amount of oil keeps me full for hours longer than porridge and has less calories.
I also like crumpets with reduced fat cheese.
Porridge with chopped dates.
Yoghurt, fruit and nuts.
Fruit toast with ricotta and a little honey.0 -
Hiya, if you like fruits you can add some blue berries and a teaspoon of honey. Or a small banana slices. Those are my favourite ways of having porridge. It only fill you but keep you going longer. Try it and feel the difference..0

Oatmeal made with milk, raisins and cinnamon.
Apple, raisin breadpudding: used whole wheat bread and stevia instead of sugar. This one freezes very well, just get à piece out of the freezer the night before and pop it in the microwave before eating. Tastes like warm Apple pie.
Overnight oats, I like the combination of milk, oats, chia seeds and shredded coconut.
I make all the above in portions sized to have somewhere between 300 and 400 kcals.0 -

I am not a ceral eater and can be slack on breakfast, but feel sick if I don't have something. Generally I have two slices of multigrain toast , with a tablespoon of peanut butter , or one piece of toast with a little vegiemite and an egg. I work afternoons , so eat more at night then most people.0

Whole grain wrap with natural PB, 1tsp honey and half a banana
Oatmeal with 1 tbsp jam ( I make my own) and apples or strawberries (try this http://www.salad-in-a-jar.com/family-recipes/apples-in-a-bag) to put on top

I also make my own smoothie with vanilla almond milk, spinach, carrots, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries and 1/2 cup frozen raspberries and blueberries. it.is.AMAZING.

almost all of these are protein and whole grain non refined carbs. These will keep you full and prevent your blood from skyrocketing. Make sure when eating a grain product that the FIRST ingredient is whole grain/wheat, not "enriched wheat flour" "wheat flour" etc. When buying bread make sure it's 100% WHOLE GRAIN.0 -
One of the reasons why you feel hungry too soon, is because you are not getting enough protein. Shoot for at least 20g. The cereal should be fine to keep, but add some egg, greek yogurt, cottage cheese, protein shake, or somthing like that on the side and see how you feel. Try to keep in mind you need protein at every meal. This will help keep your muscle while you loose fat.0

You could add a banana or some sultanas to your porrige to make it taste sweeter, or add a little honey? You're better off eating that than the sugary cheerios. I really love porrige with sultanas, I put them in as I cook the porrige.0

A weight watchers bagel (154 calories) with a little bit low fat cream cheese and a slice of salami, with some rocket/salady stuff yummy0
