White asparagus

Has anyone tried it? I tried to find an official entry for it, but can only find regular asparagus. Do they have the same caloric content?

    quick search on google told me that 1kg of white asparagus has 210kcal

    I don't know how much calories regular asparagus has though, I never eat it haha

    I would imagine it is the same. Basically white asparagus is just regular asparagus that has had dirt mounded on top of it while growing to deprive it from sunlight. Hence the white, deprived-of-sunlight look.
