Dunno if it is true or BS, though. Any thoughts?

    I just saw this too.
Some of it seems sound at least. I'm not a pro so....
It can't hurt to eat better, smarter, and exercise. I only skimmed but they didn't seem to be shilling pills which makes it seem more real than those that want you buy something.

Well, I skimmed it, too, and thought no harm trying, I guess!

First off - you can't spot reduce. The only way to lose the stomach is to eat less, move more - meaning lose the body fat. (minus lipo, that is).

And I really don't agree with this from the article:

‘Ditch calorie counting in favor of a healthy diet full of unprocessed fresh foods such as fish, eggs, organic meat and vegetables. ‘Start the day with eggs and smoked salmon, or even grilled chicken and vegetables, and snack on sliced lean meats. ‘And don’t be afraid of eating good fats, such as avocados, nuts and oily fish. These encourage your body to burn midriff fat, giving you a flat tummy.’

You are eating healthy..good for you. But if you eat at a caloric surplus, you'll not only still have your stomach, but you'll gain weight. Unless you are comfortable knowing your portions and not overeating...then cool. But most of the MFPers that are here to lose weight have issues with overeating, not knowing portion sizing, etc.

Overeating on healthy food is still overeating.

We know that much (or at least, I do) but the fact the fat sits on our guts in different ways is hormonal not to mention intolerances may mean your abdominal area sticks out not because of fat but bloating (completely different things).
