Frustrated!

GAH FRUSTRATED! My dietician said I should definitely up my calories from 1500 to 1600 a day since I'm doing Insanity and walking around on campus so much, and my new bodymedia armband says I'm still getting a deficit of ~700-800 calories a day even with the increase, but I gained a lb and a half over the past week... I also increased my carb intake from 40% to 45%, and I'm well aware it's only been a week and that my body is probably just going through an adjustment period, but IT'S SOOO FRUSTRATING! I wanted to be below 140 lbs by the end of February :(

Advice or words of encouragement would be very welcome~

Yeah, I'd give it some time and you'll see a loss, I'm sure. You look really great right now, by the way!!! =)

Plus, if you're doing Insanity, you're probably gaining some muscle weight pretty fast, so that could account for the gain.

Hmm. I don't know your height weight, ect....but for me
I completed insanity and I ate around 1500-1600 then minus my workouts cal of 300-400. So that kept me around 1200ish.
I lost 20 lbs in those 60 days.

Maybe focus less on the numbers and more on your tone. A dense body weighs more than a fat body and if your retaining any water that could explain the increased weight. Don't make yourself crazy just take a deep breath and just give yourself credit for what you've done if you focus on the negative stuff you will create negative stuff as the opposite is true too positve to positive. You will manifest what your subconscious is, so keep that deep belief that you are doing a good job and you are succeeding. Keep it up!

    ^^^^ THIS ^^^^^

Unless you have eaten 5,250 additional calories OR you have a body which is more efficient than most body builders to put on 1.5 lbs of muscle weight in just 1 week.............then it is definitely your body adjusting.

You just need patience, this is not a race, but a new lifestyle. Hide the scales and use the tape measure.

    Good luck:flowerforyou:
