Manually change the sugar limit in your 'goals' settings. It's set really low. Fruit is great for you! Don't cut back!!!

I have been having the same problem...overdosing on sugar. Which I have found to be extremely frustrating, especially because I think that I eat fairly well. My fitness pal sugar goal is 24 grams. A goal I have NEVER reached. So, I googled the recommended sugar intake for women and livestrong.com said it was 30 grams. I was also pleased to read that "recommended sugar intake refers to added sugar". Meaning that sugar that occurs in food naturally shouldn't count. I agree with that to an extent....basically, I don't feel quite as bad when I go over my daily limit now.
