thanks but what are the question marks and profit?

and why not WHOLEWHEAT bread-i thought that was healthy!

    Internet joke.

I think they were saying that, while it is better than white bread, it still has quite a high GI so it's not neccesarily as healthy as the brands claim. Here is a quick summary of wholewheat grains vs flour - http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/QAA400088

I think it originated with the underpants gnome episode of South Park. Step One - collect underpants. Step Two - ????? Step Three - profit. Though its entirely possible that the episode is referring to some other cultural meme that I'm not familiar with.

from the ad.... they are telling you to never eat rotten bananas (it was in my advertising bar as I read through the posts lol).....I can live with that.....except in banana bread then you need the over ripe ones.

Yea, I use overripe bananas in banana bread, and banana "ice cream", but other than that, I guess I can stay away from the brown ones! :-)

You forgot "food you're allergic to." That's an important one.
Heh. Sometimes I eat food I'm allergic to...you have to watch your histamine ceiling though...

It reminded me of one of those phone numbers you call that talks for about 5 minutes before actually putting you through to what or who you intended to call! I got to item 2 and lost the will to live.

Eat it, log it, don't eat all the cookies, you're done. :O)

Othere than that I can't remember. But I found the lady very annoying so it just didn't stick in my mind.

What is this "never" you speak of? Does not compute.

There is no food that should never be eaten, except maybe for anything you don't personally like or enjoy. Or anything that's poison. I mean, you could eat it, and MAYBE you'll end up only mostly dead, but more than likely you'd end up totally dead, and that sucks, because, well, you're awesome! :flowerforyou:

You forgot Food that has been licked by someone else. (Unless it's family because somehow that's more socially acceptable.)

    I lick everything.

    Wait, what?

It annoys me that I see this every day as a paid ad on MFP since that teaser phrase goes against everything most of us believe about healthy eating.
